Why do I travel? to experience the life beyond my own.

It's definitely linked to exposing myself to different scenary of both nature and architecture, but I believe it's more toward experiencing and living others' cultures. There's something magical with connecting with the unknown or different. Therefor, I believe integrating with the lives of locals, even if it was brief, is probably the best way to do so.

Moreover, I think it's one of the greatest ways to meet others, who in a way or another share some of your interests despite the fact that you might be completely 'different' people in the sense of where we are in this world. So it's for friends and experiences.

Lately, I've encountered some guests who seem to treat my place like a hotel. They barely interact, and honestly, it's been quite exhausting for me. Don't get me wrong; I enjoy hosting travelers, but I also want to have meaningful interactions and connections.
