ABOUT ME

Always the hardest part to fill out, I guess this section would start of with me saying that I am Norwegian in my mid-twenties who likes music, photography and traveling. Minus an amazing trip to Kenya and Ethiopia in the winter of 2003, my traveling experience so far is not as extensive as I want it to be, and on my travels I have mainly been around Scandinavia and parts of Europe. In general I like to get to know people more than just on a superficial level, and I tend to believe there's good aspects with all the people I meet. Consider myself as fairly laid back and social, but also like go off on adventures on my own. I sing in the shower if I get the chance.

PHILOSOPHY

On the one hand, I try to take each day as it comes and make the best of it. On the other, some strategic planning at times seem to work quite well, so I try to do that also.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Fairly new to this site, but I was recommended it by a friend. My main goal I guess is to create good travel experiences through interaction with cool people I would never have come across if I would have been traveling the traditional way. Traveling around at the moment so do not unfortunately have a couch to share at the moment.

Interests

I have many interests that span a bunch of fields, but some are more important to me than others. Music is my no. 1 at all times and helps me unwind and relax when other things go haywire. Photography comes in pretty high on the list as well, and although I am never close to being a professional and not all my friends see what I am trying to depict at all times, I enjoy very much the sensation of taking pictures that in some way or another (light, structure, angle) captures the memories of where I have been and done. Pretty particular about the movies I sit down to watch as well:some might even call me nerdy on this aspect and I rarely watch the same move two times. The favorite category varies from time to time though, so I cant pinpoint a country/director/style as a particular favorite. I sometimes think of them as a waste of time, but if you watch a good flick, the amount of time you put into it is worth ten times more than the value of other activities you would be doing instead.
