About Me

I'm a student who has been studying in Tartu since February of 2015. My studies will end on June 28th, and then I will return to my home in Maryland, just outside of Washington DC.

I love travelling for anything else, and I like to think of myself as kind, funny, and calm.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel Europe as much as possible for the remaining month that I'm here, and I would love to meet people who are local to an area.

I don't believe there is any better way to learn about a city, town, or village than by being hosted by someone who lives in that area.

When possible, I would also love to host people who may travel the United States someday.

Interests

Travelling is my number passion. I'm also very into playing music. I play multiple instruments although I mainly play guitar and drums.

I love meeting new people from other parts in the world and learning what they are about.

Music, Movies, and Books

I know that people say this all the time, but I really do listen to everything (mainly 90s music). My favorite bands/musicians are Sublime, Credence Clearwater Revival, Dave Brubeck, Nirvana, Soundgarden, No Doubt, Green Day and countless others.

I'm working on reading the Game of Thrones series and loving it. I recently read Ender's Game as well. My favorite author is Christopher Moore. He writes satirical fantasy novels. He's hilarious and I definitely recommend read his novels.

Some of my favorite movies are The Big Lebowski, Office Space, Fight Club, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, High Fidelty, Snatch and many many others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't really think of anything truly amazing I've done yet. But I will be taking a trip from Vienna to Prague in about 2 weeks.

EDIT: I have now completed my bike trip from Vienna to Prague. 450 km over 8 days of biking.
