Overview
About Me
A semi-retired educator, traveling around the world visiting my children, friends, students and you..probably?
After taking care of my elderly parents in Japan, I would like my life to be simple and try to hold less as possible so as to appreciate each moment with people I meet 'Once Chance, One Meeting'.
I have been an active member of Sierra Club, backpacking, trekking, monthly Mt. Baldy hike, etc. But through cleaning local LA beaches and trails I became more aware of our environment that I started involving activities advocating clean water, air and non-GMO foods.
I am enjoying the nature of California, but for most of the time I am traveling world. Since I have a small condo in Okayama, Japan, I would like to share that with you while I stay in Japan, 3,4 times per year.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One of my friend educator introduced me Couchsurfing. I have been hearing amazing stories from her. So I have been meeting with people since a few years ago...so far I am so happy with the results. I met many people, otherwise I wouldn’t ever come across in my lifetime. All are open-minded globetrotters!
