Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Brand new to this, I'm heading to San Francisco for a conference in a week and I have a few days holiday there afterwards. Would be great to meet some people there and see what this couchsurfing is all about!

Interests

I'm a scientist, working at OIST in Okinawa, Japan. Big sports fan, especially football, rugby and tennis. A keen fan of nice whisky and a pro at solving Rubik's cubes!

Music, Movies, and Books

Huge fan of the new batman films, and basically anything that involves Christopher Nolan and/or Hans Zimmer. I listen to a variety of music, anything from Muse to Dusty Springfield to some epic movie soundtracks (arrival to Earth from Transformers is a good example!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We have a huge laser at work that can set air on fire - that's pretty awesome to see!

Teach, Learn, Share

More than happy to teach people how to solve a Rubik's cube, the sense of achievement once you can complete it is astounding!
