About Me

Greetings, fellow humans!

My name is Haley, I am friendly, clean, and respectable person looking to connect with other lovely people as I find myself in various places around the world!

I've been traveling for the past year now. Some of my time was spent backpacking through Central America. Most of it was spent in my car, driving across the United States, up and down the West Coast, and up into Western Canada. This year I’ve been island hopping from Hawaii (Big Island) and Bali.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to take living a nomadic lifestyle as opportunity as to connect with more people as I continue to travel. I hope to eventually set down some roots and have a space to share with other couch surfers!

Sharing tea with a fascinating stranger is one of life's true delights!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I generally love most music, anything from heavy dubstep to more tranquil acoustics. To name a few of my current favorites, Ayla Nereo, Wildlight, CloZee, Nahko and Medicine For The People, Adventure Club, REZZ, Stickybuds, Minnesota, Space Jesus, WBBL, Dr. Fresch.

Movies: Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke.

Books: The Celestine Prophecy, The Alchemist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2017 I attended the Elemental Alchemy Visual Arts Immersive, in combination with the Oregon Eclipse Gathering. I arrived before the festival for the Immersive, for 5 days of workshops under the guidance of master visionary artists; Aloria Weaver and David Heskin, Amanda Sage, and Alex and Allyson Gray. I had the privilege of learning various painting techniques and a bit of art history from the artists that inspire me the most.

The experience as whole was absolutely life changing. Its hard to put into words the magnitude of how much this experience transformed me as a whole. It honestly changed the course of my life and gave me the inspiration to travel to see the world, one new place at a time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I find the most enriching moments on my travels have been the times when learning a new skill or from gaining new insights from one another.

I am happy to help out by cleaning, sharing and cooking food, and great conversation.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My art is one of my most sacred offerings to offer to any space. Making art is my magic. It steams from a strong connection to my sense of vision, my third eye, and my inner light. I am happy to share my knowledge of art and the medicine that can come from channeling energy through making art. Let's bring our visions into the physical realm and create together!
