I am currently earning my teaching credential to teach English as a Second Language. I'm excited to work with diverse groups of students and to have my summer off to adventure and travel! I love international travel, but in a pandemic world and am trying to explore more places in the U.S.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I do not think I'm able to get the full travel experience unless I meet the people who live in the places I go to. It is through people and relationships that I can truly learn about the culture of the place I am in. I think Couchsurfing provides a wonderful opportunity to form relationships with people all over the world, people who I would have never met otherwise. My experience with CourchSurfing is minimal, but I really enjoyed the times that I have been able to use it and connect with other people.

Interests

I prefer to be away from my computer, TV, and phone and to be outside instead. I love going on hikes, exploring parks and biking. While I am no photography professional, I love to try to capture places and moments in pictures. I enjoy the process of taking pictures and especially love that looking at them feels like it brings me back to that experience.

Favorite Music - 90s pop! It's a little dorky, I know. But I do love to have people show me different kinds of music and especially love anything I can have a good kitchen dance party to.
