A small town, but open-minded simple girl from Alberta, Canada. Just making the most of this good life by seeing news sights, gaining new perspectives, being immersed in different cultures and most of all meeting amazing people! I have just returned from 1.5 years abroad in the Netherlands + other parts of Europe.
My house is open for YOU to rest and re-energize.

All in all, it is a great way to make connections with local people. In my travels I have loved what I have seen, but I find the PEOPLE I meet and the relations I make are the most memorable. I LOVE listening to people's stories, honestly, I could sit and listen all day!! I can't wait to listen to you talk about your culture, way of life, food and adventures you have embarked on over a cup of coffee + a cold beer, when we are out sight seeing or just simply at my home.

🌻 Have stood on the land of my ancestors. My Oma + Opa’s in Lemelerveld and Luttenberg, Netherlands and the land of my Great Grandpa’s in Ichtegem, Belgium.
🌻 Tree planted in Northern Alberta
🌻Swam with sting rays in the Dominican Republic

However, a real highlight of my life was this one time when I made a grilled cheese sandwich without burning it.
