ABOUT ME

***Update 7/23/2019: I haven't been hosting for the last few years, but my boyfriend and I are very interested in meeting like minded people from around the world and we finally have the space to host again. I am in grad school and we both work full time, so we don't have much time to go meet locals, and we love to travel ourselves and happen to have a spare guest bedroom in our home! However, we're only willing to host people who's interests align with ours (meaning, if you like to smoke weed, go on hikes, love dogs, and enjoy going to dog friendly dive bars, we'll be a good fit. If you're just looking for a "place to crash"- please move on. We're particularly interested in hosting people who would be able to host us in return one day.***

I am a 26 year old hard working chick and my best friend is my dog. She's a 4 year old alaskan malamute (as of April 2019). She is very well behaved, as she's a service dog (and comes everywhere with me, including work). We live with my boyfriend and his golden retriever in a house right off exit 171 on I5 in North Seattle. I work full time and I'm currently going to graduate school for my master's degree in social work. I also have a cat whom I adore (she loves me back sometimes). My bf and I are some of the most 420 friendly people you will ever meet!

Just to give you a sense of who I am and the things I like, here's a random list of things I like: Cooking, hiking quiet trails, road trips, Stevie Nicks, Feminism, animals, kayaking, dive bars, crock pot meals, decorating, candles, meeting people with interesting stories, shooting ranges, experiencing new things, dark humor, sarcasm, jazz (Big Band to Louis), Portlandia, and indie movies.

I met a few people from this site at a couch surfing party at my neighbors house once, they seemed marvelous and they had nothing but good things to say about this site so I decided to give it a try. Over the past few years I've hosted a few people and stayed with a few people and these days I'm looking to host people who I could potentially go visit in their home states/countries one day!

I'm interested in hosting people with similar interests to mine; hiking and swimming with my dog, eating delicious food, smoking weed, having a few beers, playing pinball in dive bars, (and on weekdays- straight netflix and chill), etc.
