Heya! My name is Haley. I'm an elementary school teacher at an international school. Before this, I taught ESL in South Korea.

Hosted when I lived in Korea. Have met some amazing people through meet-ups in Asia and Canada.

兴趣

All sorts of interests, but my favourite things usually involve the outdoors. My favourite thing in the whole wide world is scuba diving, but really I'm happy doing anything in the ocean. I've been really lucky to have hiked some gorgeous spots around Asia, and I hope to continue climbing up mountains when I get home. I'm always happy to jump on a bicycle and explore around too.

Movies - Pretty easy going with this stuff.....but under absolutely no circumstance will I watch any horror movies. That stuff gives me the spooks.

Books - I've recently just finished the Harry Potter book series (I realize I'm a woman in her 20's) and LOVED them. I also like Bill Bryson,Kurt Vonnegut, David Sedaris, and sometimes Chuck Palanuik.

Movies - A lot of the older stuff..The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Dawid Bowie, this list could go on awhile. Recently listening to Alabama Shakes, Bon Iver, the National...this could also go on for a bit.

I hiked to 4300 metres in Nepal and managed to get to the peak minutes before intense fog rolled in.

I've also done some amazing dives and have been surrounded by big sharks in Malaysia.

I taught English for over three years, so I'm always up for an informal lesson. Also taught swimming lessons for six years a long long time ago.
