COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have a good friend who introduced me to couchsurfing. I was introduced to a friend she met in Atlanta GA summer 2010. I was in Atlanta for work over the fourth of July holiday. The friend invited me to a party at her home where I met about 30 couchsurfers from all over the world. It was the funnest party I'd ever attended. Everyone was excepting and excited to meet and find out, who you were and where you were from.

Decorating and design are my trade, but I love what I do. I enjoy live concerts. Usually the smaller venues where you can actually see the performer. I like to dance. I can country, salsa, and a little swing. All I need is a good lead. I like to eat good food and drink better wine. I enjoy going out with groups and doing anything from karoke to bowling. If there is music playing, I'm up dancing. I like the outdoors. I like camping, kayaking, and just your general road trip. I'm a planner by nature, so I like to have an agenda. I usually am the one who takes charge in a crowd to organize and direct whatever the event. I like to make sure everyone has a good time, including myself. Most of all, I like to travel.

Most memorable place I've been, was the original Grand Caynon Airline building, near the south rim of the Grand Caynon. I was with a local, whom took me there on his quad. It was amazing!!!! Nothing tourist.

Id like to learn more about the places I travel. Get "local" perspective. Not just do the usual "tourist" stuff. See things only someone who lives there knows about. And most important, meeting people and having a GREAT time.
