Try to look for happiness in the small things and try not to dwell on the hardships and saddness in your days here. I believe there is a bright side even on cloudy days.....tho sometimes I forget.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By opening our home to travelers as they fulfill their dreams as well as enjoying the hospitality of others as we fulfill ours.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have been able to host surfers and have been hosted in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Washington state. All positive and I now tell all my traveling friends of this new family of mine.

Lyle Lovette, Dylan, Dave Mathews Band, music of the 60-70's, movies of action and drama..I do not need the blood to make a good movie, books Joseph Conrad, James Michner, Steinbeck, Mostly writers from the US just because I have not gone far from my comfort zone.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being at the births of our two sons stand out as number one. Viewing the vastness of Alaska from the air has to rank high on my list. Completing a backpacking trip in rain snow hail and wind, totally exhausted with my hand around a cool beer and the feeling that I challenged myself.
