I love to travel and have a serious case of wanderlust. I work full time as a nurse in NICU and work as much as I can to satiate that wanderlust. Some of my fondest memories are when I am multi-day trekking and the camaderie with the people you meet along the way.

I like adventure and will try *most* things at least once. I can't eat bugs though! LOL. I consider myself pretty laid back and take pretty much everything in stride, especially when I'm travelling. I love to meet new people! In fact, I make an effort if I see someone sitting solo at a restaurant or pub to invite them over, whether I'm by myself or with a group. Most of the time they are happy for it, only once did they decline as they were waiting for others. For me , strangers are just friends you haven't met yet! I tend to get along with most everyone. :) I'd say my personality is more on the bubbly side. I'm extremely loyal.. if we become friends, and this can happen and has happened in even in the span of a couple of hours, I'll be your friend for life and do my best to keep in contact.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have several friends who are CS'ers and they've had nothing but good to say about it. I love meeting new people and making new friends, so it sounded like a great opportunity! I have yet to have my first experience but hopefully that will change in the near future. I'm open to hosting and surfing.

Interests

I love to travel, obviously, and love travel photography. I also like computer gaming ( mostly MMO's) , LOVE hiking and trekking, reading, pubbing, hanging out with friends, blogging, snorkelling. I also like doing adventurous activities, like paragliding, skydiving, ziplining, etc. When I'm not travelling you can quite often find me researching destinations, lol.

Music: Hate me, love me.. but I do love Nickelback. My music is quite ecclectic though, anything from dance, country, rock, instrumental, etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard to choose just one, but trekking 17 days to Everest Base Camp, Gokyo Lake and Chola Pass in Nepal was pretty epic :)
