ABOUT ME

We had our first European adventure back in June 2009. We traveled via train and bike, we couchsurfed, mostly camped, hosteled, and WWOOF'ed for three months.We both attended Saint Mary's University - Adam has a Bachelor of Arts while Jackie has a Bachelor of Commerce. We met when we were hired as editors for our school newspaper, The Saint Mary's Journal. Adam was the Sports Editor, and Jackie was the Business Editor (aka "MissBiz")Jackie is a serial entrepreneur and focuses on marketing and business development, and Adam is a Canadian Coast Guard Officer who is studying Nautical Science at the CCGC in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. We try to travel as much as possible, and frequently daydream about our next big adventure.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We couchsurfed once in Dublin, Ireland in a cute little house shared between 4 friends. They were the most amazing couchsurf hosts we could have asked for. We can't wait to create more experiences with our own couchsurfers in the near future.

Jackie: Game of Thrones, paganism books, travel memoirs, anything that has to do with France, chick-lit. Adam loves reading about philosophy, history, and nautical exploration.

WWOOF'ed on a goat farm in the Norwegian mountains with no electricity or running water - milking 100 goats twice daily, making our own cheeses, yogurts, butter, breads, etc.
