About Me

Hello everybody! I’m Halit (25). I grew up at Türkiye which is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. I have visited a lot of cities of my country and explored many historical places and natural beauties. I have been dreaming about going to new countries, experiencing different cultures for a while. Now, I think I’m ready for it. My first route is Europe and I’m so excited. It's kind of cliche saying that but I really like getting to know new people. I also would prefer to spend my time with people who lives in cities which I visit rather than travelling alone because I feel that I miss something important when I don’t hang out like local people.
I’m into watching detective movies and TV series. You know, you never know how it ends. I like riding bicycle, reading novels and poems, taking photographs, playing chess etc.
I recently listened to “By the Sea – Eleni Karaindrou” again. I had watched “eternity and a day” and found out that song. It's a nice song and felt me peaceful.
I follow F1 races since last year. I’m a fan of Max Verstappen. I’m also a fan of Galatasaray (which is a football club in Türkiye). Actually, I’m not a huge follower of football but if there is an important match, I may watch it with my friends. By the way, I like to hang out with my friends, especially on Friday and Saturday nights.
If you don’t have any idea about my country, I can tell you about it. We have good dishes, such a masterpiece. We have kebab, ice-cream (made by goat milk), baklava (a dessert), many kinds of soup etc.
The last thing I can tell about myself that I live in Istanbul. It’s hard to describe my feelings about Istanbul. I just can say that I love this city. Of course, there are some critical problems here like traffic, crowded places etc. but I love living here anyway because I focus on its positive features and advantages. If you check the city on the internet, you’ll understand what I’m trying to say 😊
Anyway, I would tell about myself more but I think whatever I write here, it won’t be enough to introduce myself hahah
Alright, take care yourself. Nice to meet you in advance 😊

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have travelled the South East part of Türkiye alone for 3 weeks. I think it was an amazing experience for a university student at that time. I got to know new people and I figured out many things which tourists can't recognize by themselves thanks to them. I hope I'll add new things on this page in time :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share some chocolate and some good old stories I have :)
