About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn more from other people’s wisdoms and experiences : )
ABOUT ME
I’m currently studying at CEU - a university in Moncada, Valencia.
I guess I'm a little bit of an intellectual, and interested in basically everything under the sun, including fun, cultural activities, discussions, diversity (even politics) – you name it, and I'm probably interested (!)
LONGEST TRAVEL
My longest travel lasted about 2,5 years, started in Berlin and Eastern Europe, then Rio de Janeiro 4 months, Buenos Aires 6 months, Australia a year, New York 3 months, and then when I returned to Europe, I visited my sister in Copenhagen, and have lived there since.
FAVOURITE DESTINATIONS
I’m fond of the Spanish speaking world, and everything Latino. One of my favourite destinations is Cuba. I studied Spanish there at the University of Havana, and stayed for 3 months, a couple of years ago, to experience the culture and to meet the Cubans (they speak very fast!). And one of the best ways to stay in Cuba is to live with the Cubans, so I have a lot of experience living in people’s private homes as a guest.
EDUCATION
I have a masters in broadcasting from an international university in Montraux, Switzerland, and I also studied in Reykjavik, Stockholm, Oslo and USA (I was an exchange student for a year in Oregon, USA, and graduated as a Senior from an American High School).
COUCH SURFING
I spontaneously joined Couchsurfing in 2010 but never used it. I was in Australia when I joined, and I got a lot of positive feedback from hosts, but didn't stay with any of them. But now I'm starting over, as it is surely a wonderful concept.
PHILOSOPHY
Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
It's about warmth, about meeting new people in their own culture, showing gratitude, sharing something good and uplifting, inspiring others, getting inspired.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It's a very humbling idea to be received in someone's home, simply as a guest. It's an amazing concept and a way to connect people almost as they are already a part of your family.
I've only surfed a couple of times in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria with a very cool couple (Fernando and Jose) and their two Chiwawa dogs, and Pau - a very cool law student from Catalonia.
Interests
Philosophy, culture, society, reading, running, exercising, learning, writing, art, music, cafes, meeting new people, giving and receiving inspiration.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Resigning my well paid job in public relations in Reykjavik in January 2008 to travel in 3 continents over two and a half years, living, experiencing, and writing a book - staying for a while in Berlin and Eastern Europe, 4 months in Rio de Janeiro, 6 months in Buenos Aires, a year in Australia and 3 months in New York, before living now for a few years in Copenhagen.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my warmth and openness, my travel experiences and perhaps some of my wisdoms about life (which I eagerly collect!), as well as my curiosity and gratitude that they accepted me as a guest in their home.
