About Me
Hey I’m Halley! Originally from Australia but have been living overseas for the past.. nearly 4 years now! When I left home I backpacked through India/Asia for about 8 months. Then did 2 years in London on a working visa, then 5 months work in Croatia on the party boats as a tour guide and now I’m just coming off spending a month backpacking through Egypt by myself!
Looking to land in the Netherlands and work for the remainder of my visa (which I think is till June?)
And that’s where couch surfing comes in!
I’ve heard a bunch of things, mainly that it’s not that easy finding a place that’s registered, and I am running low on funds having just yolo’d around Egypt for the last month haha
Anyone in Amsterdam with a spare bed, couch, floor, tent in the back yard.. whatever! Would be doing me a massive favour/ saving me on hostel costs while I try and sort my life out haha
Holla at me if you think you’d have a space or know someone that might. I’m a very below average cook but I’ve been told I’m funny? So I hope that counts for something 😅
Cheers,
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
So my money will last me and take me further on my travels while getting the bonus of meeting some rad people along the way and getting to experience a side of life you might bypass if your sleeping in hostels with other tourists.. 😊✌🏾️

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Trekking up to the base camp of Mount Everest is probably the coolest thing I've done to date, 2 weeks of trekking in altitude was tough but arriving at Basecamp was the most rewarding thing I think I've ever done!
