I teach Outdoor Education at a public school in a small mountain/lake town in Idaho. I am also a server at a funky little local pub, the manager of the local community gardens, and a data collector for an invasive moth species. I don't drink but don't mind it around (I just hit my lifetime allotment for beers early- ha!). I do not like Donald Trump, heavy metal music, or seafood. I do like foraging for yummy forest treats, gardening, live music, and doing puzzles and games- camping, yes!

Currently watching the Great British Baking Show in the background while I card wool to teach my students how to spin yarn. When I work on my seed bead earrings I like to put on Young Sheldon or some other corny sitcom. I love memoirs and I read Little Women every year. I also like documentaries and am always game for some comedy. Favorite authors: Gary Paulsen, David James Duncan, and Barbara Kingsolver

A jail was torn down and I was hired by a local food bank to organize and build a 10,000 square foot food bank garden. I was foreman of the project, volunteer coordinator, and did education workshops and garden mentoring while speaking some English and lots of what I call cave woman Spanish
