i can teach you a few turkish language if you want.

for example, a few simple turkish sentences:
Merhaba/Selam = Hello/Hi
Evet = Yes
Hayır = No
... Var = There is...
... Yok = There isnt...
Teşekkür ederim (ş = sh) = Thank you
Afiyet olsun = Enjoy your meal

About transportation :
if you stay more a few days in istanbul, i think it had better if you buy a Istanbul Card (Akbil).

Its a IETT website. You can add destinations for learning how to go there.

about new language
i'm very willing to learn new language, i mean you can teach me anything how to say in your language :)
also, i want to teach you turkish :)
