ABOUT ME

My life lately: The last couple of years have been an overwhelming and tiring mix of super-weird, super-sad and super-wonderful things. This made me realize that what I really want right now is to just settle down somewhere, stay in the same place and take some time to think and breathe and walk in the forest. That lead me to the tiny village of Djura, not far from Mockfjärd where I was born and raised, and I now live in a small house where there's cows in the field right outside my living-room window. I walk in the forest, listen to vinyl records, work sometimes, write a bit, think a lot, try not to worry, read books. There is a kind of low-key happiness to all of this.

PHILOSOPHY

We will all die one day. All other days we will not.

Music, Movies, and Books

Reading is about as vital to me as breathing. Writing a list of favourite authors doesn't really make any sense, but I do love Kerstin Ekman's novels and the poetry of Olav H Hauge. I also try to keep up my Chinese reading with novels and poetry. Come visit me and have a look at my bookshelf!

I like folkmusic of all kinds, Chinese indie rock, Chinese rubbish mainstream pop, beard and flannel shirt indie, 60s & 70s rock, cool 80s women, some oldschool jazz and I don't mind going to see an opera every once in a while.

And yes, I watch movies. Right now I'm mostly watching Star Trek: The Next Generation, though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent 2,5 years living (and travelling) in China. Which actually means a thousand amazing things, including everything from punk gigs in Beijing to hitchhiking in Tibet.

Countries I’ve Visited

China, Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Norway, South Korea, Spain, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
