ABOUT ME

Terve!

I'm a positive and passionate fitness enthusiast from Finland who loves to travel and meet new people. I'm a business/marketing student, but what I really want to do is become a Personal Trainer and inspire and educate people about health, nutrition and exercise in a positive, encouraging way. I'm an aspiring fitness model and on my free time I love to read, learn new things, spend time with my friends, go out for long walks while listening to good music, watch movies, play great video games and spend countless hours surfing the Internet.

I'm a sociable adrenaline junkie, always up to some excitement and adventure. I love to have fun and dance at clubs until morning, but I also like just hanging out with my friends and chatting. If you're a cool, happy person who smiles a lot and appreciates a healty lifestyle, chances are I'd like to know you!

PHILOSOPHY

I have big goals and big dreams, and I'm very dedicated in pursuing what I want. I try and find a positive side to everything and remind myself daily how grateful I am for being who I am and being able to do the things I do.

I want to live my life with passion and be the best me I can be!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've just recently discovered CouchSurfing, but I plan to participate by offering a couch when I get back home! I haven't verified myself yet for the same reason; I'm not at home right now so it would be a bit difficult.

Interests

Music - RnB, pop, rock, classical, some metal, some jazz, and everything in between.

Movies - Lion King is my all time favourite :-) I'll watch most movies, I like action and horror in particular.

Books - I read a lot of books on training, nutrition and personal development. Fiction-wise, I love suspense, especially Stephen King's stuff.

Games - Some series I like are Final Fantasy, Tomb Raider, Silent Hills, Resident Evil, Prince of Persia, God of War, Kingdom Hears. I like FPS games on the PC plus of course the greatest game ever, UFO: Enemy Unknown (or X-COM)!

Exercise - I do gym, gymnastics and plyometrics on a weekly basis, but I'm willing to try almost anything (major hatred for golf though). Extreme stuff especially peaks my interest; I've bungee jumped and sky dived!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did military service in Finland and that was the most personal growth inducing year in my life, I learned a lot about myself and other people. I don't endorse the military at all, but it was a great experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to teach and learn anything exercise-related! I can make basic gym and nutrition programs, help with gym exercises, give tips on better form, posture and nutrition etc. I'm not a food nazi though, so don't worry :-D

I'm pretty big on languages too, so I'd love to teach and learn those. Also, I'm a self-proclaimed guru when it comes to Final Fantasy or Tomb Raider games, so I can offer my expertise there as well :-D
