I'm about a year away from graduating from college (Environmental studies B.A. with a policy focus) while I'm writing this, and I have a feeling I'll be traveling a little after I'm finished. Probably in the US mostly, but I'm in Germany til July 2017.

I know I'll learn a lot more by meeting people in the places that I go, and that's wicked hard to do in hotels & motels. I like beds, but I've spent time living in couches, tents, and my friends' storage room for a little bit as I worked on a research project. I'd love to spend a night with people who are up to host, and I'm a pretty good cook with some foods if there's interest in making a meal.

Musica, film e libri

Okay, music: Whatever's interesting and it depends on the setting, but old rock, folk, jazz, and classical are always fun. I hop around between modern genres; hard to commit. Going to school in Burlington gave me really weird music tastes. Hard to pick a favorite artist, but check out my friend Eric George on Spotify! He's great.

Movies: Again, way too hard. Lawrence of Arabia to Star Wars. I like talking about all of them.

Books: The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss is my favorite so far, but I'm trying to expand the list. I read a lot less after I got to college, but I listen to audio histories on my way to classes.

I got stranded in rural Ontario with my friend on a bike trip, learned to fix a flat tire with a fork, met a lot of great Canadians, and escaped to the Detroit airport.
