I'm Halyna, 33 y.o., translator and private tutor. Like many of my compatriots, I was forced to flee from my beloved city and country with my cat and friends to escape an enemy invasion. A week of wandering around Europe brought me to my closest friends here in Hamburg. People of Europe provided me with everything I could imagine. This is my opportunity to repay for good.

For the past three years, I've been living in Germany. Starting over in a new country as an adult has been challenging. I'm currently learning German and figuring out my path forward. While I don't have hobbies at the moment, I'm volunteering to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which helps me stay sane, connected, and purposeful.
