ABOUT ME
i'm a research economist doing graduate work in the us (in Champaign Urbana), originally from the sunny and wonderful honduras. i hope to meet new people both in my current city of residence as well as around the globe.
i love music, and would seriously consider leaving my job if i was any good. i occasionally write songs or try. i recently finished my training to be a yoga instructor and am currently trying to learn french at a snail's pace.
PHILOSOPHY
You can always learn something new, and enrich what you already know by sharing with others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Spreading the word and working for a stronger and always better community. I participated in the CS group in La Plata, Argentina and when in Honduras, also attend the meetings held there. In the US, the community is somewhat smaller and less active, unfortunate, but I guess not that many surfers go through my neck of the woods!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
i hosted in la plata, which is a great city, culturally diverse, always something to do (maybe not in january) and the most amazing CS group i've had the pleasure to meet. i've also surfed with some of the most amazing human beings i have had the pleasure of knowing. they truly made the journeys remarkable. you know who you are!

Interests
i'm trying the whole songwriting thing. i find it keeps me sane from all the economist work and i do and consider it a great outlet. creativity always makes the world move forward, and all new ideas are good. growth is life people!
meeting people is always something astounding. you can learn so much from experiences and stories if people are willing to share. so, i am quite interested in hearing other people's travels, opinions and general outlook on life, the universe and everything.
