I'm a graduate student in film in Madison, WI and also a freelance filmmaker. I love traveling and meeting new people. I've used Airbnb for a long time and you can find the reviews my hosts have written on me there, but I'm new to couchsurfing, so I hope my lack of references won't work against me, as I'm very friendly, easygoing, and very experienced in traveling and staying at other people's places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's for two main reasons. First, I absolutely love to meet new people. I get energized interacting with people and getting to know them. Second, I enjoy traveling so much, but as a student, I don't have much money to spend for staying in hotels or sometimes even in an Airbnb, so couchsurfing is a great opportunity to enjoy the experience without going broke.
