ABOUT ME

i travel alone, a lot! i do things the single kinda way! friends call me "the artist" (since i,ve got an artistic style of doing stuff, and im in architecture, and i sketch, and play the piano!) im quit and usually end up doing things by my own! so thats why im here. couchsurfing is gonna help me to be social and active a little bit more, i think!

PHILOSOPHY

When I was 5, I thought my dad was the only person who knew everything. I came to him with questions of a childhood world, fantasizing about life experiences that came to me every moment, and he gave me answers that made me more mature and I liked that. When I was 10 I learned that maybe my dad doesn't know all stuff. Maybe he's just making up some stories to make it look like a better world out there. When I was 17, I was already in high school, having that kind of teenage life where you get friends that are all looking to have themselves in the spotlight; some by telling about their awesome life, some by trying to win soccer games, some by beating you up and some by being a better friend. I thought that, well dad doesn't know much anyway. I'm seeing stuff he never told me about before. When I made it to college my dad was there that day wishing me the best and saying that I need to work hard if I want to make to make big steps. I was thinking that he's just giving me that old nonsense he usually does, he seemed so ignorant I could hardly stand having him around, so I just went on starting college my own way. The way that I only got to regret 4 years after. Today I'm 24 and I think my dad was right! He was right all the way from the very first day I went to school to this moment. He was right about the hard days. He was right giving me the nice stories. He was my hero all the time and I didn't know it. Anyway, we can never rewrite the past but to just learn from it to define the future.
I was first going to say that maybe Tom Brady is the most important person in my life and that how he throws a 40 yard pass and wins a game or maybe Iker Casillas who saves a penalty and saves the day at a final match where he's the last and only hope. But at the end of the day it's my father who shows me the right and wrong and helps me to find a better way in life, and he's the one most important to me.
We are all looking for perfection in our lives, and to make heroes out of people and call them the best, call them our idol and follow their way. But the thing is; there is no perfect. There's just better, and worse. To be better is a goal; to be perfect is a dream...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

so this one winter afternoon i was eating at Buffalo in Valiasr, Tehran. great restaurant BTW, i always go there when im around. anyway i was having some buffalo wings withe onion sauce, when i realized this guy sitting beside me was Geraman. well actually latter i found out he was Geramn-Persian. around 25, blue eyes, absolutely German looks, accompanying him was what i realized a college student from Tehran. so making the story short he wanted to play chess somewhere near. i realized that i knew an art academy nearby where people could play chess fro free, didnt bother though coming out and heading to the park on the other side of the street. its called "Daneshju" park (meaning college student) one of the better parks in the city which is located in the city center. i was sitting on the bench, when i saw them two sitting at the other side of the park. so i said what the hell, im gonna go tell them about this place where i might wanna play a game myself too. and that was where i found out about couchsurfing and how people can meet and that how those two met on couchserfing and ended up at Buffalo!
so we dindt play chess eventuly, but ended up talking a few hours and walking around in the city before i got back to my car and headed back home in a cold and quit winter afternoon, and never saw him again since he had to fly back to Germany the next day. but what i did find was couchserfing and its ability to get people out of the virtual world of internet, and make the meet each other for real and share in a real world, in real places...

Interests

i sketch, read articles in a nerdy kinda style, watch the NFL (go pats!), NHL, F1 (Webber fan), La-Liga (huge RealMadrid fan!) MLB and play futsal for a local team, and swim for my collage team and spend hours on my laptop! but the most im interested in, is the past! and what ive done and shared and the stories ive had, and what has turned me, into me! (also interested to master my piano playing skills!)
