Looking forward to working towards something I care about rather than helping a company self more stuff. Hoping to get to some places I would never otherwise see and leanr some things along the way.
PHILOSOPHY
Never stop trying new things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm a newbie to couchsurfing. I'm hoping it can help me out from time to time in my travels. Once I get a place of my own I'll be happy to host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Crashed on plenty of couches in my time, but I'm new to this "official network" of surfers.
I spent 4 weeks traveling around Ireland with friends and only spent 4 nights in hostels, the rest was on couches. Have also stayed with people in London, Bristol, New Zealand, Colorado, Strasbourg and various Australian locations.
I have also hosted international visitors in the past from Ireland and the UK, as well as fellow Australians who were staying in town.

Where to begin with this:
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well I've done some great things like cage diving with sharks and climbing Mt Fuji; but the most amazing experience that sticks out was in Fiji. Driving through the highlands way off the beaten track, stopping in a random village to ask permission to camp their for the night. We were invited to the funeral feast of a local person. Starting very much on the outer fringe we were progressively invited further inside until we were sitting next to the chiefs. We stayed in the village huts that night with the families. It was a phenomenal experience.
