Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend recommended this site, and I'm glad they did. Looks a great way to meet amazing people from all sorts of backgrounds and cultures.

Hope to travel around and make the most of those long university summers.

My interests really do vary, from hiking and photography to rather geeky technology "stuff". Not so interested in what's popular, but what is genuinely interesting. I also cook, with varied success 🙃

Music, Movies, and Books

Apparently my music taste is all over the place. Mark Knopfler and Toto through to Runrig, M83 and Hanz Zimmer all tick my boxes. Most modern pop music can take a back seat though, please.

Documentaries are great and the BBC Planet series are simply amazing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent a year living in Wales, with no idea what to expect. Had an amazing time and met so many great people. Would I do it again? Aye.
