ABOUT ME

Hi!! My name is Hamish, I'm 21 and I'm from Wellington, New Zealand.
I'm in the last stage of my 5 years of traveling and working all over the world, I figured I'm a big boy so I should go to India to test that out!
My passion is working with kids, the past five years I've been working with kids with disabilities in Canada which has been the most amazing experience. I have also worked on cruise ships and have some crazy stories.

I'm really into hiking, camping cooking, reading and hanging out and I'd like to do as much of that during this trip as possible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only had the opportunity to surf thus far. When I settle down I'd love to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did two weeks of couchsurfing in Seattle and California while back before couchsurfing my way across Canada. I've also surfed around New Zealand and now I'm using it to meet other travel folks.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself and think everyone should be a couch surfer and host!

Interessi

Music is huge for me! I can't play at all, nor can I sing but just because I can't doesn't mean I won't!
Hiking and camping is a huge thing for me, I'd love to do the PCT or any of the Triple Crown hikes one day.
I like chatting to folks from all walks of life, and I love to drink a beer or two. (or five)
Really, I just like having fun with others!

Musica, film e libri

Most music but I love The Cat Empire, Current Swell and Wilderness Crew.
Any movies really but my favourites include Intouchables, The Sunset Limited and Lars and the Real Girl.
Book-wise I thoroughly enjoyed Shantaram and Requim for a dream and I'm currently reading Catch-22.
A good atlas. They are the best books.
