About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Help my fellow man. Aprovechar, learn, understand, resist the man.

ABOUT ME

I am an outgoing and social person that loves trying new things and exploring life. I have a true passion for different cultures and love learning about them. I would say I am fun and up for anything. Whilst you're young right? I am excited to meet new people and share my experiences with them and love moments of random acts of unconditional kindness.

PHILOSOPHY

People should be good to each other. I don't see the point of discrimination on any level. It doesn't cost anything to be kind and respectful.

I am not religious but the bible's lesson of "treat others as you would wish they would treat you" is the foundation of my morality. I think it is the most important lesson anyone can learn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will get verified when I am not travelling and poor.
I have surfed for a month through Europe but I have been most active in hosting since I arrived in Palermo. Including unofficial couchsurfers I hosted around 80 people in the space of 2 months. I believe it is better to offer the choice to sleep somewhere less comfortable than to not offer anywhere at all.
I have also taken part in some of the CS meetings in Palermo and some of the English language classes.
I promote couchsurfing to anyone I can; having inducted friends and members of my family.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friends regularly have couch-surfers and they always get me to come over so that I can talk to those that can not speak English. I have met French, Spanish, Ecuadorian and Italian couchsurfers all of whom have been really cool.
I hitched through Europe Csurfing all the way. I met the most amazing people and experienced the places I visited through the eyes of a local. This made my trip better than i could have ever imagined.
I also met my now current housemates in Palermo through CS. They said they would host me whilst I looked for a flat... I moved in 2 days later!
Since then together we have hosted loads of people having loads of parties, some finishing at 8 the next morning. I have had 2 week long sessions with CSers that I have got on with really well. I can honestly say I have met a lot of people who were no longer CSers by the time they left but friends / temporary roommates.

Interests

I study languages at university and hold a very deep passion for music (Electronic/hip hop/reggae/anything). I really enjoy sharing my music taste with others and hearing what they listen to in exchange. Travelling and people have to be my main passion.
I really like drinking and other such things (although I can of course do without).
I like openminded and unhindered conversation about anything. A lively debate is always nice and I am not judgemental of anybody's views, even if I do not share them.
I like to chill as well so watching a bit of T.V. or even playing a board game or cards or stuff like that is cool. I would love to learn about meditation.
I like hiking, climbing, cliff diving and doing new things. If I haven't done it before sign me up!
I am a bit of an adrenaline junky so anything that pushes the limits is my kind of thing!

I like chilling on the beach, swimming, climbing, hiking, raving, seeing new things.

I love to go out, drink and party. I am very lax about most things and accept everyone from all walks of life. Meeting these people is an important interest of mine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ankor Watt in Cambodia was a breathtaking experience. Nothing will compare to it and I will remember it forever.

Hospitality night and WHP (Warehouse Project) in Manchester (Drum%Bass Night) was the best show I have ever seen. The light shows matched with the flawless sets of the DJ created the perfect night.

I lived in Sihanookville, Cambodia, working in a bar called Dolphin Shack for a month. Living amongst a true Khmer family was a truly enlightening and fascinating experience. Not to mention the beautiful friendships and experiences I was able to have with them.

Hosting 14people in one night in Palermo was hilarious. We all went out and got very drunk and the next morning I woke up to find bodies everywhere (sleeping bodies). One sleeping on my kitchen table, one in the bath tub with no pillow, even one curled up like a dog at my door. Hilarious.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like learning about new cultures and ways of life. I always enjoy to learn about someone's music.
