ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty easy going person. I own my own home which I rent out and like to renovate. Need anything fixed at your place?!? I love the outdoors, and have had a great time snowboarding Whistler recently. I love my sports and keeping fit and healthy. My favourite sports are Australian Rules Football and tennis, but I'd like to give ice hockey a go...if I can learn to skate! And I love travelling around - seeing new places and meeting new people.

I work for the Victorian government doing environmental management, with a focus on fire management. I love my job! It's really diverse - I can be fighting fires one day, lighting them the next day, and then rescuing whales from cray pots the day after!

I've travelled a fair bit now, and have lots of good experiences to share.

All in all, I'm pretty easy going, and I'd like to think easy to get along with!

PHILOSOPHY

I live for my family and friends. I will look after them with any means available to me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed a couple of times, but my main involvement has been social. Many of my friends in Canada are couchsurfers. Now that I'm back home in Australia from my travels and have my own house I'm able to host some couchsurfers.

I'm loving a lot of Aussie music at the moment. Would say Xavier Rudd is on top of my list, but also a big fan of Pete Murray, Powderfinger, The Cat Empire, Arctic Monkeys, The Killers, The Panics, Kings of Leon, Powderfinger, Radiohead, The Von Bondies etc etc!

Favourite movies include Fight Club, The Usual Suspects, Zoolander, 12 Monkeys, Terminator, The Rock, Transformers and so many others!

I don't watch much TV, but when I do it'd be shows like NCIS and Dexter.

I'm reading a Dexter book at the moment (like to TV Series), but also like Fiction/Fantasy novels.
