ABOUT ME

I'm a 20 year old student at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. I was raised in Sugar Land, Texas right outside of Houston and love the country lifestyle. I caught the travel bug about 2 years ago and can't stop. I've backpacked to many other countries including Cuba, Jamaica, Spain, Germany, Holland, Italy, and am studying abroad this summer in Peru and Costa Rica. I plan on continuing to travel all around the world and meet tons of interesting people- so here I am!

PHILOSOPHY

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just had my first couchsurfing experience in Costa Rica, 2 weeks before starting my "study" abroad program in San Jose (they might as well call it travel/party abroad). But anyway, I stayed with an awesome guy in Guadalupe, right next to San Jose, in a house with him, his parents, and his dog Mickey. They ended up being more of a second family than a host family by the end- his mom is a english teacher there so she was constantly helping us with our spanish and taking us to her familys' houses to let us into the Tico culture. They're awesome, and I couldn't have asked for a better beginning to my couchsurfing experience!

While travelling with my friends through Europe, I got to paraglide over the Neuschwanstein castle and climb a mountain to get an awesome view over the castle and the german landscape
