About Me

I’m a regional sales executive with a PhD in materials science, currently based in Turkey but originally from Algeria. People who know me often describe me as outgoing, curious, and full of life. I thrive on new experiences and meaningful conversations, and I’m always eager to connect with people from different walks of life.

My work keeps me on the move—traveling often to different countries, meeting new people, and exploring new cultures. Although I don’t usually surf or look for hosts during business trips due to tight schedules, I’m a big believer in cultural exchange. I’d love to host someday, but I’m rarely home long enough to do it properly.

Outside of work, I’m a passionate sports lover—football, basketball, running, and especially tennis. I also play the piano (with real love!) and dabble in guitar. I enjoy cooking as much as I enjoy eating, especially when it comes to Italian, French, and Eastern cuisine.

I have a deep appreciation for languages and speak several fluently. When I’m not traveling or working, you’ll find me at the piano, on a tennis court, playing PlayStation, or enjoying thoughtful, late-night chats. I’m also a big animal lover—especially when it comes to cats.

Though my background is rooted in science and technology, I’m equally fascinated by psychology, neuroscience, and philosophy. Couchsurfing, for me, is an extension of everything I value—curiosity, exchange, and the simple joy of connecting with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m here to embrace new experiences in different cities around the world and to enjoy the simple joy of meeting new people, exchanging ideas, and sharing cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m into all kinds of good music, but I have a soft spot for Metal, Rock, Trance, and anything with a beautiful piano melody. I’m also a huge fan of movies and—above all—TV series. I can talk about shows for hours! When it comes to books, The Prophet by Khalil Gibran has left the deepest mark on me—profound, poetic, and timeless.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learning piano and tennis by myself.

Traveling across six cities on four different continents in ten days.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m always happy to share what I know—I can teach languages, cooking, basic piano, and of course, a bit of science too.
