About Me

Hi! My name is Han. I am from Indianapolis, IN. I graduated from university in 2010 and I have been in this crazy and lazy workforce for about 5 years now. Something drastic has happened though and I am being LAID OFF from my job at the moment. So, I am going to take this time to do some soul searching and find a job that is meaningful and rewarding to me.

I am an active member of my community. I volunteer with many art organizations and for a local music/art venue. I love to dance, everywhere. I enjoy music to an extreme extent that I feel it move all over me. My passion is READING and KNOWLEDGE. I love to read everything, except instruction books on technology. Because there is so much to learn in this world, I will never feel smart enough.

I am a happy person with nothing to hide. I have no idea how to lie, it's sometimes a bad thing. But you can ask me any question and you will only get honesty.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: It really just depends on my mood. I tend to listen to a lot of electronic pop music, such as: Twin Shadow, Aurtre Ne Veut, Tanlines, Blood Orange, Chairlift, Class Actress, Hooray for Earth (who just broke up and devastated me), etc.

Also really into the 1950s and 60s music groups. I love listening to Joe Meek's collections. One of my favorite songs is Dumbhead sung by the Sharades, they're lovely ladies.

Authors:
ALL books by Haruki Murakami. I think he's brilliant.
Everything Kurt Vonnegut. Hey I'm from Indianapolis.
Franz Kafka is my secret lover.
Christopher Moore makes me laugh out loud all the time.
1984, George Orwell
Brave New World, Aldous Huxley
I thoroughly enjoy dystopias apparently.
I of course can never ever get enough of the classics.
Jane Austin, Charles Dickens, Charlotte Bronte, Mary Shelley, Shakespeare, Chaucer, etc.
Sometimes I want to get away from the seriousness of Literature and expand into a fantasy world, and with that I enjoy books from Juliet Marillier and Elizabeth Hayden.
