Overview
About Me
Living the Japanese good life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's nicer to know a place vis a vis a person who actually lives there and can share the places that are meaningful to them. Hostels are fun and I still use them, but sometimes the party atmosphere and noise are too much for me.
I'm pretty decent at doing lemon garlic broiled chicken, a basic tomato pasta, Mexican fusion dishes, zucchini bread, and chili. There are loads of other things I like to cook (especially corn bread if I have access to a cast iron skillet), feel free to message me if you want to cook together. My inner introvert loves an excuse for a night in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived in remote East Tennessee for a few years helping my parents raise Great Pyrenees, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, rabbits, and guinea hens.
Teach, Learn, Share
After mastering Japanese I’d like to brush up on Italian and then maybe do Spanish and Portuguese.
I love cooking and shopping for things to host dinner parties, especially if I am trying a new recipe.
I've learned I like extremely aged pecorino and fresh pecorino but not so much the ones in the middle. I am ever-willing to meet new cheeses.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cooking, English language practice, house cleaning, a hike, editing for English essays or work documents, a bottle of wine.
