ABOUT ME

When I say that I have spent a long, long time pondering what I could write to give myself a description, you should definitely believe me.

Here is the very common and general and plain description of myself that I have come up with after all the struggles the first time I edited my profile:
I am a Chinese girl who is now in Lyon, France to experience the French culture and also the European culture.I am easy-going, always happy and always see the good side of things. I think that people, however great they are, they can easily been limited by their own life experiences. So I always try to meet more people, become friends with them, experience different ways of thinking and different mentalities! I love all the beautiful and interesting things in the world. And I am deeply in love with Harry Potter series, maybe you can say that I am not so realistic from this point, but I really love the magic world! I love classical music,too. I've playd the violin for 15 years now. I am majored in interpretation and translation. This is also one of the reason why I like the variety of this world! Through languages, music and my own eyes, I see, listen and feel the world.
Yeah, I bet after reading this, you still do not have a very strong impression of me.

After spending sometime living in this fantastic community of Couchsurfing and reading profiles of other couchsurfers(I always enjoy reading profiles^^), I think I should come up with something new, and something better to say about myself:
Like I've said, I always try to see the good side of things, and also of people, the bright side. Although I am always told that the world is complicated, it is not as simple and innocent as I think it would be, I always try to believe and see the beauty in it. And I know from the time I have lived that if I see things simplier, I will be happier, my heart, my mind will be lighter and brighter. And that's good! So I hate all kinds of conspiracies, schemings and so on. Why making things complicated? Why tangling things? Why harming others? I say NO to all these.

I hope for a world with no discriminations. Discriminations are everywhere, caused by nationalities, origines, social status, jobs, health conditions, sex, sexual orientations, age, religions, etc. Why looking down upon others? Because of prejudice, ignorance, lack of understanding and lack of respect. I intend to understand and reduce my own ignorance. So this is one very good point of Couchsurfing because it allows people to get to know other people and other culture by living(a very direct and effective way)or traveling or just talking with them!

Just these two paragraphs first... I have to stop because I have morning classes tommorrow, but this will surely be continued. But I have already come up with the finishing part^^

Maybe still no strong impression of me. But that's fine actually. Hope we can meet and spend some happy time together. And that's enough already:)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Excellent and amazing and satisfying and happy!!! I can use all the positive words I can think about!

Couchsurfing is really not about having some free places to stay for the nights, but about people meeting people, people talking and exchanging thoughts with people, people becoming friends, good friends, close friends, best friends, or even life-time friends and soul mates(although some don't believe this kind of relationship exists, I do)with people, beginning from both being strangers to each other! It is about finding your second home that you have never dreamed that you have the chance to.

When people who you know for just one hour, or even shorter share with you his/her home, offer you a couch or even his/her own bed, cook for you, talk with you, tour you around, become friends with you, give you warmth in a city that is strange to you, what you feel are very wonderful feelings that few things can give, warmth that you can't dream that you can have, and also heart-felt gratitude.

It is so good that you feel strongly that you wanna give something back, that you want to do good for others, that you will do all that you can to make the world better.

It is always people that make the experiences valuable, memorable and much more pleasant! I strongly feel that a travel experience is not completed without couchsurfing.

Interests

watching films and cry for it(sometimes even the characters in the film are not crying)

beautiful and fashionable clothes that have their own styles, it will be better if I am the only one who possess it

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've played with my orchestra in the Sydney Opera.It was quite amazing to me at that time, but now, I am not so sure.
My mom and I are close to each other
I almost died when I was just born! Want the whole story, let's meet!
There are many amazing things I have seen or maybe done and I hope for more!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to play the violin of course if you want, or you don't want to bother learning it, I can play it for you:)
I can teach you how to cook Chinese food and how to speak and write Chinese
I am an expert of Harry Potter series. If you have any questions regarding to it, just ask me!
There are still more things I can teach I think, but I can't think of them now. So when you meet me and you want to learn something, just ask me, it will be a great pleasure for me to teach you if I myself can do it^^

Everyone is a teacher for me. I believe I can learn something from every single person!For example, I want to learn how to not be afraid of death.
