Overview
About Me
I am a Canadian citizen, who has grown up in a rural mountainous region in China. I am currently attending King's University in Edmonton. I have a passion for social issues and the environment (which is one of the reasons I enjoy biking so much!) I also have a passion for working at children's summer camps and hence have spent the past few summers at camp teaching children archery, rock climbing and outdoor living skills.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to meet new people and hear about their experiences. In addition, I love to travel. Thus couchsurfing is the perfect way for me to enjoy both of these passions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A few years ago my three brothers, three friends and I did a 4 day climb over a mountain range near my home in China. It was the most arduous climb that I've done, especially considering that we were not prepared for the fact that it was snowing when we reached the summit. Completing the hike felt amazing, especially since this was the third time that we attempted the hike.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my experiences growing up in Thailand and rural China. Since I grew up on a farm, not only to I have interesting experiences to share but I am also able to share my gardening and livestock skills.
I would also love to share my baking and cross-cultural cooking knowledge.
