ABOUT ME

I'm a former student in History of Arts and Archeology, I used to work in a bookshop in my hometown for almost 4 years. I'm always reading 2 or 3 books at the same time... no! of course not REALLY at the same time!!
Now, I work in a tea shop. Not where you drink tea but just buy loose tea. If you're nice, you can drink tea at my place... (Yes, I'm a dictator)

Always smiling, friendly, funny, easy going, yes I'm perfect. I like to have a tea/coffee/beer and just talk about everything, watching people walk by, sit on the grass and enjoy the sun (BREAKING NEWS: june 8th : first sunny day of the year 2016, we forgot what the sun looked like, and what sitting on the grass felt like. JOY)

I took acting class this year, and i'm so stressed about the play... but I will do it again next year, and i'm still thinking about what classes i could join (dance? any language? psychology?) because I like to learn new things.

I try to live without regrets and without hurting people, which is sometimes easier said than done. But I'm working on it and I'm getting pretty good.

I will probably end up being a (mad) old cat lady, but for now, i'm okay, don't worry.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in different places and I hosted very different kind of people, but mostly I really enjoyed my time with them. They all had something to teach me.

Interests

I read a lot (weird isn't it? considering I worked in a bookshop...), I see movies whenever I can and I would love to discover all the classics so if you're a movie addict you are more than welcome.

I love visiting new cities and making friends in them. I'm aware that you cannot be friend with someone within 3 days, but I love to feel that if we lived in the same city, we would become close.

I love food, but I don't cook. I have friends who do that for me... actually, I think that I became friend with them BECAUSE they cooked for me.

I like to draw, but I'm terrible at it.

I like photography and sometimes, I work with amazing photographers.

I'm reading the song of ice and fire (game of throne), tales of the city and Anna Karénine. I love Asimov, King, Orwell, Pratchett, Calvin & Hobbes...
About movies : tideland, mr nobody, shaun of the dead, Fantastic Mr Fox are some of my favorites (more recently, I've seen and loved Interstellar, Memento, Broken Flowers and Gone Girl) but I really can see anything from boring love stories to horror movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen my cat giving birth to 5 kittens... more disgusting than amazing though.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am not a good teacher... But when I want, I can learn quite fast.
I want to learn more languages, and this way, maybe, understand people. The best way to understand a new culture is to learn the language.
I want to learn surfing.
I want to share food (i'm quite obsessive with food) and i DON'T want to learn cooking!! I just want you to feed me hehehe
