I'm a VFX artist so I've moved around a bit for work. My best memories are of drinking coffee in the morning: on a rooftop in Seoul, in a small shop in London, before a hike in Chiang Mai. There's nothing good a cup of coffee won't improve.

I find it more immersing when visiting a country for a short time to get to know people who know that place best. And if I'm being honest, I might otherwise not meet anyone while travelling; I mostly keep to myself and would never strike up a conversation with a stranger.

I enjoy reading Murakami and Kazuo Ishiguro. I loved Anthony Doerr's prose in 'All the light we cannot see', and Hanya Yanagihara's in 'A little life'. I like reading poetry. I'm currently reading Marcus Aurelius 'Meditations' and Anthony Doerr 'About Grace'. I recently finished The Priory of the Orange Tree and can't wait to get started on the prequel. I enjoy listening to everything Stephen Fry ever wrote or acted in, though I'm only halfway through Mythos. I was changed by Sapiens and Gödel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid. I should probably stop here, otherwise I might go on forever.

I watch a lot of films. Recently I enjoyed The Stranger and was deeply moved by The Whale.
I loved The Umbrella Academy. I can't wait to see the latest season of Black Mirror. I worked on House of the Dragon season 1, but I thought it was too violent.

Latest musical crush is Hozier - Eat your young. I'm a fan of everything Kenshi Yonezu and Epic High.

Went to Japan when I was 19 by myself, with 50$ to spend. Survived to tell the story. (Not entirely unexpected, Japan is a wonderful and very safe country).
