I couch surfed the entire summer of 2015 through Europe and it was such an incredible time! I also hosted people when I lived for 2 years at the student co-ops while in Eugene- mostly it was people associated through the cooperative but also word of mouth hitchhikers and travelers. It was a great way to meet people. It seems like a perfect way to travel.
