About Me

CURRENT MISSION

YOLO! And finding an adequate apartment in Paris :D

ABOUT ME

I would say I am definitely an outgoing person, who loves to hang with friends, be in crowds and meet new people, but sometimes I enjoy time on my own as well. I am very friendly and considerate, sympathetic and will always try to make other people feel good.
I just finished my high school studies here in Belgrade, and will be moving to Paris in August, as to continue my studies at La Sorbonne University. I will be studying Spanish Language and Literature. During my time there, I would like to learn as many languages as possible, and would like to work one day in the United Nations and Unesco. After Paris, I am looking forward to going to Australia!
I think the Earth is one big place to explore, and consider myself a cosmopolitan, ready to see all of its wonders and learn as much as I can.
In this moment I am feeling very happy and I could embrace the whole world!

PHILOSOPHY

Love and be loved, embrace the world and all it has to offer. Learn as much as you can, be good to others, always help and try to be useful. Always make the best out of each experience and live and have fun!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any Couch Surfing experience yet, but one of my best friends, Danica Petrovic, has recently hosted a really nice guy from Switzerland, Manuel Berger, and it all went perfectly well and we had a really good time together!

Interests

I looove meeting new people, traveling and discovering new places, new cultures and different things. I need to be buzzing all the time and having new experiences. I am also very passionate about history and all things vintage, sometimes I think I was born in the wrong period and I am of the opinion it's time that someone made a time machine, so I could go to the past and come back whenever I feel like it. Couldn't imagine life without music, I especially love the Beatles and Tchaikovsky, but listen to a lot of other cool and good music.
I am really good in languages, love learning them, and love going to summer courses!
Book reading is another thing I really enjoy...especially some good historic novels :)
I drink tea even if I'm not sick, like watching movies, tasting different food...I went to an art high school, did some graphic design and have been drawing and painting since an early age. Some of the goals I want to achieve are: learning how to waltz, play the piano and dance the charleston, horse riding and, of course, traveling and studying in as many places as possible :D

Music, Movies, and Books

Hmm...I really like a lot of different things and am always glad to discover something new :)
In many cases I can't decide what I like best next to something else...but here are a few things I want to mention:

Leonardo's Swans, Hamlet, Crime and Punishment, Anna Karenina, La chambre de la reine, Harry Potter, Atonement, Waiting for Godot,

Classical music, especially Tchaikovsky, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, ABBA, Oh Land, The Pierces, QUEEN, The Cults, Buena Vista Social Club, Portishead, Edith Piaf, Lana Del Rey, Little Dragon, Vaya Con Dios, Josephine Baker,...

Don't like blockbusters...generally. Period dramas :D
Le Roi Danse, Atonement, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, The King's speech, The Artist, Titanic, Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, Desirée, The Other Boleyn Girl,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing things I've seen? I would have to say each place I've been. But some of the most interesting ones could be the Old City of Jerusalem and the Great Wall of China. And before I went to Israel, I had no idea Tel-Aviv was such a vibrant and happy place!
While in China, I also tasted a very peculiar ice-cream: it was made of peas, and while I like vegetables, I didn't really enjoy it.
I think it's a great experience that I've changed 5 schools so far, so it's one pretty amazing thing for me :) thanks to that, I had the chance to meet great people from all around the world.
And of course, there are all of the crazy and funny things I've done with my friends.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could help people with languages, just name it! ;)
I have some pretty good experiences so I could share real information. I would like to learn to play the piano and waltz.
I know a lot about history, and some specific historical figures. I am a bit obsessed with fashion over the decades, I know a good deal about fashion history, and of course about painting and drawing.
Would also like to learn to cook more different and yummy dishes :D
Since I spent three years doing graphic design, I know how to work on most design programs like Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Corral Draw...and a little in some of the web-design programs, such as Dreamweaver and Flash.
