About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find the right place to live.

ABOUT ME

Uf, all about me ... The first thing on my mind is traveling. I love to travel! Half of the year I'm normally away from home and the other half I'd be supposed to study. I study comparative literature and Slovenian language which is spoken by less than 2 million people. Completely useless studies but I love it. The only problem is that I don't wanna live in Slovenia and don't know yet how I'm gonna use my education elsewhere. Teaching foreigners Slovenian language would be it, now I just need to find foreigners that want to learn it. :) If you know anyone please let me know! Slovenia is a really nice country, but at the moment too small for me. That's why my current mission is to find the right place to live. One of the places I love is Madrid, I fell in love with it but I think I have to give opportunity also to other places ... maybe Berlin or Buenos Aires. At the moment I don't know what I wanna do in my life, but I believe that when I find the right place I'll definitely know it. So ... to have a job that is interesting and doesn't tire you is the other mission.

PHILOSOPHY

Charles Bukowski

Oh yes

there are worse things than
being alone
but it often takes decades
to realize this
and most often
when you do
it's too late
and there's nothing worse
than
too late.

My personal philosophy: not being too late! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm available for coffee anytime when I'm home, sadly I can't offer a couch because I don't live alone. But I'm definitely gonna do it when I'm on my own. Love the CS project and I think that the guy who invented it is a genius!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Everything began in spring 2008 when I got this feeling that you normally get in spring, unrest or sth and you need to go somewhere immediately! The only problem was that I had no money. That's why my friend and I decided to hitchhike from Ljubljana to Prague and stay there for couple of days with a help from the couchsurfing. That's why I made the profile.
In 2009 I was traveling around Mexico where I was couchsurfing all the time and met so many cool people. It was seeing one country from other point of view: it wasn't traveling it was entering people's houses and living their life. Thanks to them that was the best trip ever.
