CURRENT MISSION

Preparing to spend 4 incredible months on the road with my boyfriend Joseph and with our little Slovak project http://www.cestujemespolu.com/ which means "Travel together" where we share our travel experience!

Quitting our jobs, deciding not to settle for the safe road, choosing the world, heading for the new, unseen destinations: India, Nepal, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, and the other part of the world: Peru, Chile, Bolivia, Argentina, Brazil.

The time of our lives is about to unfold in a couple of months. Please be a part of it and show us the real places we need to see to understand it!

ABOUT ME and JOSEPH

we are both very talkative, sociable, restless, open-minded, fun seeking, happy two human beings, addicted to travel. Some people even say we look alike :D but we don't think so... :)

I believe we are both very easy to get along with. Like most of us here in Couchsurf, despite visiting the notoriously touristy places, we also look for authencity and little wonders of average daily life around the world. We will be incredibly happy to be hosted by likeminded, warmhearted people.

We like to talk but listen even more. People are the essence of the places, we love to hear the stories. Apart from travel, our passion is also sport. Joseph is excellent at basically every sport: beachvolley, squash, bedminton, sking...just name it - he will learn it and beat you at it :)

I love sports as well but I am a bit clumsier than Joseph, but I still got it :). I love animals and now I know I should have been a veterinarian instead of lawyer.... or an Explorer :)

Joseph Works as an event manager in a big Slovak software company and he is great at it :) He loves his job.

so far just by surfing, I had pretty Great experiences. We hope to also host very soon, possibly when we get back from our world trip.

Hana:
My interests include people and their stories and passions. Being on the road. Sitting on a train to some new place. Buying a flight ticket. Planning a trip. And something non-travel related? Hmm...From legal field I would name: Intellectual property rights, labour law, justice in general, I like to defend the weaker, however my current job does not reflect this need, therefore I guess I shall look somewhere else. I like taking photos and looking at photos :). I love the tripple S: Sand, Sea, Sun! Learning languages :) Horses, dogs, friendly animals. I love Joseph, my family and friends above all.

Joseph:
Playing sports, organizing sport events, participating at sport events - I love all sports/events oriented activities. I must be learning something all the time, whether it is paragliding, how to ride a motorbike, languages. I am restless and I still need to improve myself. I love to spend time with my family and friends but I also just enjoy being on my own and taking a walk in a new city, place, whenever my life takes me. I worked a long time as an IT journalist, so I have a passion for new technologies. Currently I work as an event manager which opens for me totally new and interesting horizons. Once I would like to work as a Red Bull sport event manager, but before that I will travel the world with my love. :)

Movies: movies based on a true stories recently "Spotlight", movies with animals "Water for elephants", unique movies "Crazy stories" = Relatos salvajes from Argentina (best in a long time!)

Books: travel books, Dan Brown books, self development books or biographies and stories about inspiring people and girly magazines sometimes (applies only for Hana)

Music: ska, opera, pop, dnb, dub step, electronic music

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

Hana:
I can teach languages, how to ride a horse, how to sing Slovak song, share stories about Slovakia and I am eager to learn anything and everything.

Joseph:
He can teach beach volley, badminton and he can basically learn any sport very quickly. He can share funny stories and likes to create good atmosphere around him.
