PHILOSOPHY
No person or place can make you happy. You are the only one who can. But they can make you happier. :)
“If you suffer, it is because of you. If you feel blissful, it is because of you. Nobody else is responsible, only you and you alone. You are your hell and your heaven too.” Osho
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Until now I haven't hosted. I joined CS when I came to Spain and started to live in a shared flat.
I participate a lot in the events Palma couchsurfers organize such as hikes and parties.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Absolutely positive! I met so many nice people, many of which left very strong impression on me.
Interests
Science, learning, languages, dancing (any kind!), hiking, swimming, movies, reading, cycling (a lot! always to/from work), travelling
I am interested in food. :) It is also part of my profession (nutrigenomics to be precise) but I also think about it a lot outside of work. :)
Music, Movies, and Books
Uh, I have seen quite a lot of movies and in general enjoy a wide variety (Up in the air, Inglorious Bastards, Maria Full of Grace, Laberinto del Fauno, Das Leben der Anderen, Tesis, Elephant, Amelie, The Boy in the Stripped Pjyamas, Before Sunrise, Before Sunset & Before Midnight, In the Loop, The Bridges of Madison County, Gattaca, Punishment Park, Office Space, Nobody Knows, 127 Days, The Bucket List...)
I listen all kinds of music except heavy metal and very hard techno. My first love is rock, mostly oldies, but when I go out i like to dance on rnb and pop as well. Actually when it comes to dancing I think I can enjoy any kind. :)
I like to read! My favourite type of literature are essays, something like the style of Alain de Botton, who is by far my favourite writer!
I also liked a lot Brave New World from Aldous Huxley which a have read couple of times in different times of my life and each time found something new to think about.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could maybe teach you some dancing and something about the science I am doing. :)
I like to learn.
I would like to learn Italian (my favourite language) and horse riding. More dancing is always welcomed as well. :)
And someday would probably be useful to know something about cooking. :)
