Overview
About Me
I LOVE to travel and experience new cultures. I also love meeting new people and getting lost in a city. I'm a big foodie and will try anything once.
I lived in Bangkok, Thailand for 4 years where I helped start a Life Skills program for students with disabilities at an international school - but am now back in the States.
I was born in Seoul, South Korea but grew up in Northern Virginia right outside DC. I'm fully Korean American meaning I'm not quite American and I'm not quite Korean; I'm a third culture kid. After having lived abroad I've become a third (or fourth??) culture adult.
I'm thoroughly enjoying this adventure called life and can't wait to see where the future will take me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have a friend who's a couchsurfer and hosts a lot of couchsurfers at her home. I've met a lot of cool people through her and have crashed at other peoples' homes with her. I figured it's about time I start doing it on my own! I think it's a great way to meet new people and really understand the people and the culture!
Interests
I love to bake and cook and try new foods. I also am an avid reader and can spend a rainy day indoors reading by the window. When I'm not eating or reading, I like to just hop on a bus and see where it'll take me. I also enjoy hiking and the outdoors (especially water) but I really am a city girl at heart.
