About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Loving the whole world

ABOUT ME

I like the idea of healing people and communities, but even more, I like the idea of keeping them from ever getting sick in the first place. I've gotten really into community gardening (especially urban) as a way to do this. Community supported agriculture ideally gets more people cheap/healthy food, builds exercise into peoples' lives, and creates cool support networks!

PHILOSOPHY

I like nurturing living things. People. Other animals. Plants. (I want to learn to grow oyster mushrooms!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Quito, Ecuador at the end of last summer, I saw a bunch of scruffy artist-types painting a bit of urban path and laughing. I asked them what they were doing, and they said that they were "trying to make the sidewalk a little more beautiful." They invited me to stay and paint with them, and we painted for an hour or more - creatures, messages, exquisite images spontaneously designed by many souls.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to love your vegetables! I am learning how to cook delicious vegan food (sounds like an oxymoron, I know).
