About Me
Haaaay guys! I’m Hanan, a 22 years old girl originally from morocco, born and raised in Italy.
I'm currently studying Medicine in Parma (northern Italy), my interests includes sport, hiking, learning languages, reading books.
Can’t wait to meet new people and discovering new cultures!
*fully vaccinated with 3 doses against Covid*
In 2019-2020 I've been in Australia working as an au pair in a half australian half indian family in Melbourne!
After this experience I travelled in Malaysa as a solo female traveller and I loved that freedom. I hope to live experiences like these because they make me grow a lot. The past two years were very challenging and I didn't travel so I need to get back on track!!! :)
I can host and be hosted just FEMALES and FAMILIES only. I don’t accept solo male travellers.
From the photos you are certainly see that I’m wearing the hijab, the islamic scarf. My religion is Islam . I hope it will not be a problem for you. I just don’t eat pork meat and drinking alcool. That’s it. I would like to be hosted by someone that respect this part of me and also be interested in knowing more about my mixed culture moroccan and italian!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to have as many friends from all over the world as possible..
I tried Couchsurfing for my first time in Malaysia where a precious woman hosted me. Since then, I promised to myself that I will use this platform as much as I can because is a great way to live an unusual experience while travelling, instead of staying in hotel you can meet locals and get tips, help, advice about the place. I really love this concept.
Interests
My hobbies are writing and sending letters to my penpals from all over the world, ( I can speak italian, arabic, spanish , a little german and english too) engoying nature and landscapes, doing photographs, doing some sport to keep me fit, consequence of another hobby: eating all kind of food.
I love so much cats! They are so so so cute

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all kind of music but I prefer the indie, soft pop and rock music. It depends from the mood, you know!
I like reading books about self development, mental health, psycology and relationships
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been working for three summers (when there isn’t school for me in Italy) in Formentera, which is a balearic island in Spain. I worked as receptionist, maid in hotels, dishwasher, server, and bellhop.
I really enjoyed these experiences because it was very challenging working in a new place and with people with another culture and speaking/learning spanish, a language that I never studied at school.
Recently I climbed for my first time a mountain ( I did Cradle Mountain in Tasmania which is pretty high) and it was really really hard for me but at the summit the view was amazing and I felt invincible and unstoppable!
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m a good mannered girl, I can manage all type of situations with education and without shame. I want that all people around me are always happy and not sad or angry.
Also, I’m a person that love to help the others, even if is just giving a smile or a hug. I think we will be lost if we don’t help each other.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can tell you about the italian and moroccan culture! Also we can prepare toghether some of the famous recipes of these countries! I think it will be so fun!
I can teach you something about the italian, moroccan and spanish language! That’s could be cool! And you can teach me yours!
And of course if you host me you’ll certainly have an accomodation in my house in Morocco, in Formentera (Spain) and also in Forli (Italy)!
