About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Connect the globe - it's only a concept in my mind until I visit all the countries and complete the picture.
ABOUT ME
2nd year university student at the University of Virginia. My double major is Chinese Language + Foreign Affairs - I've studied a summer in China, I'll be studying there another year or two really soon :] My goal is to learn as many languages as I can, using China as a focus point and moving out from there! I'm working on Korean, I'm gonna start vietnamese/thai/japanese next and just move outwards geographically.
I'm willing to try anything, I adapt to things quickly and feel at home almost anywhere. I love excercise, I love life, and I wanna see as much as I can before I get too old and stop caring :]
PHILOSOPHY
People are too scared of what they aren't familiar with. I'm scared that I'll never learn about places and cultures outside of the United States where I've lived my whole life. How can I know that this is the most suitable lifestyle for me if I've never lived anywhere else? ... I need to experience everything before I can be satisfied with any one static lifestyle。

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I looked at the mountains in the distance, and I finally followed the urge to climb them. It was a long day, but I actually walked to the top of the mountains I saw way off in the distance. That was an amazing feeling that I felt at the top.
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't have much, I've lived in American suburbs my whole life, I feel kind of sheltered at this point in my life - but I have my ideas, and I've studied a lot about East Asia.
