Scuba diving the cenotes in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, from 5/29 - 6/8. Staying at the Gran Porto and diving with ProTec Diving.

ABOUT ME

I think I'm a pretty typical gringo: I'm tall (6'3 / 191cm), into all sorts of outdoor sports, and of course fun too! I live in Palo Alto, CA, and just finished my PhD in electrical engineering. I love scuba diving, hiking, and generally any kind of exploring. I'm open-minded and always excited to try new things, so surprise me!

I'm staying at the Gran Porto resort in Playa del Carmen, so I don't need a host. But I'm traveling alone and it would be great if you'd like to meet up!

In 2006, I went skiing in the Andes mountains just outside of Santiago, Chile. In 2012, I went back during the summer and rode horseback up to the top of those same mountains!
