About Me

CURRENT MISSION

On to the next one (adventure that is)
ABOUT ME

I'm always open for a new experience.

PHILOSOPHY

This is a work in progress. Please stay tuned for updates. For now I can say positivity is the key.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to show people the parts of Milwaukee that make it a special place. Few people from outside the midwest are aware of the community and cultural ingredients that make Milwaukee's flavor unique and irresistable.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I learn from traveling. New people provdide new perspectives. I value couch surfing because of the incite I gain when I meet new people on my travels. I hope that the exchange is reciprical when people visit Milwaukee. I strive to make my guests are comfortable and show them places that they wouldn't find in any tourist guide book (I'm not sure if those exist for Milwaukee but in theory I think the idea would be relavent).

Interests

I really enjoy dance. I especially enjoy Tango and Capoeira.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Jazz, raggae, classical, especially these, but I enjoy it all.
Movie: Last Holiday
Book: The Good Earth by Pearl S Buck, check it out. I listened to it on CD so I guess I can't be sure that's a good read, but it's a good story. I have read books before, I swear.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rode in a helicopter to a glacier in Alaska. It felt like I was being pulled into the air by a string.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've taught swimming for several years. Recently got to do a bit of swim instruction. I'll have to check to see how that worked for my friend Nugugi next summer. I like learning new languages. I speak Spanish ok and have taught at the High School Level. I'm interested in learning many more and have dabled in a few. I can cook a mean spaghetti and a few staple dishes that I enjoy. I would like to hone my craft in the kitchen, without Kraft to be sure.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Cuba, Germany, Kenya, Mexico

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
